PATCAT Release 3.5.139

  • Fixed an error in Report Recalculate:
    • Where it crashes when a patient does not have a valid Link_ID (GUID)
    • Where it crashes when patient data files are missing
  • Fixed an underlying patient data (Diabetes Type 1 and Diabetes Type 2) discrepancy when using them as filters
    Note: Please perform a recalculate for the following reports:

    • CV Event Risk 5 Year Count

  • Fixed an issue with PIP QI Email Reminders being sent to the same practice multiple times
    • Logs will be cleared (as part of this update)
    • Email reminders will be re-sent to PIP QI enrolled practices who haven't submitted a PIP QI compliant extract for the PIP QI quarter
  • Added background processes that cleans up patients (removes data that is no longer needed in the PATCAT database and file system)
    • Database indexes will be added (as part of the update process) to improve the performance of the clean-up process
    • Depending on server specifications and amount of data; the database index creation may increase overall update process
  • Changes to reports:
    • MBS Item Count
      • Added new category "721 (CDM-GPMP) or 723 (CDM-TCA)"
      • Added new category "Heart Health Check"
    • MBS Items Not Recorded

PAT CAT 3.5.129


  • Fix for issue with Diabetes Type 1 and Type 2 where PATCAT under-reported numbers for patients with an ‘inactive’ flag for their diagnosis. This patch will increase your numbers of patients with diabetes, but as the ‘inactive’ flag is not generally used for diabetes we don’t expect the change to be substantial.
    • The following reports are affected – each report will have to be recalculated after the update has been applied
