Recipe Name:	Patients over 60 yrs of age with chronic conditions.
Rationale:	Older patients with chronic conditions are at high risk for Covid-19. This recipe will show you how how many high patients are in your catchment.
Target:	Indigenous patients over 50 yrs of age with chronic conditions.
PAT CAT Starting Point:	PAT CAT Open Population Extract Loaded and Extract Pane "Hidden"

Filter Steps:

On the "General" tab, entre the Start Age = 50

Click "Recalculate"

Report Steps

Click on the 'Co-morbidities' report tab.

Click on 'View Report'
The adjusted column will give you the number of unique patients over 60 in your catchment and how many of them have one or more chronic conditions. You can also identify practices with higher than average numbers of those patients.

Additional filters, such as 'active patients' or other age criteria can be applied to modify this recipe. You can also search for patients with specific chronic conditions only, by using the Conditions filter. Please keep in mind that this filter is an AND filter – you can only add more conditions to your search such as asthma AND COPD AND diabetes.
