The data collection process collects medications that are found in the patients current medication list on the Summary Views > Medications tab > Current Medications. CAT4 does not make any decisions about whether a medication should actually have been removed from the patient's current medication list. The GP is responsible for making sure the list of medications is accurate and up to date.
| Medications are mapped in a hierarchy - Class then Generic then Brand. If the generic names are listed then all brand names are mapped, and if a class is listed then all generic names and brand names are included. |
