This upgrade contains:
CAT Plus Prompts App
The CAT Plus Prompts App in Topbar is part of one of the most advanced and anticipated developments in Pen CS’ history. The new feature significantly reduces the administrative burden for practice staff and Pen CS clients, as it creates point of care reminders on mass and at the click of a button. CAT Plus Prompts complements a service’s existing workflow and is designed to promote preventative health activities. When a patient’s clinical record is opened at point of care, and meets one of the notification rules created though CAT4 and/or PAT CAT, a notification will present through the CAT Plus Prompts App in Topbar.
This functionality requires CAT version 4.2 or greater to be installed.
HealthPathways App
The new HealthPathways App will provide users with a simple and streamlined access point to their HealthPathways website. In one click, and without leaving the clinical system, Topbar will load, sign in and display the appropriate HealthPathways website home page.
This App is only available through your PHN.
Cleansing App
An additional notification has been added to the demographic section called ‘Private Health’. When a user is notified of a missing Private Health status, an ‘Add in Clinical System’ button will direct the user to the appropriate coded field in their practice management system for data entry.
Waiting Room App
Complementing the additional notification in the Cleansing App the Waiting Room App has also had a new notification added to the demographic section called ‘Private Health’. When a user is notified of a missing Private Health status and an ‘Add in Clinical System’ button will direct the user to the appropriate coded field in their practice management system for data entry.
Topbar will be extracting missing demographic data from the Practice billing software and no longer from the Practice clinical software.
