  • Patient has no history of having the mobile device test completed within the last 12 months

When a patient does not meet the qualifying criteria, the following message will present:

  • Patient does not meet qualifying Criteria

 

The data collected through the AF app in Topbar will be extracted  by CAT4 and added to the file sent to 'The George Institute'. The four additional fields added to the file are:

  • AF Test Data (dd/mm/yyyy)
  • AF Test Time
  • AF Test Result
  • Topbar usernameImage Added

Only patient that have data stored in the Topbar database will be able to populate the cells in the CSV. If a patient does have the appropriate data, then the cells will be blank.

The screenshot above is missing the 'Device Information' and the 'Study Details' text. In the final version the text displayed will be:

 

The following text will be displayed regardless of whether a patient meets the qualifying criteria or not.

Device instructions

  1. Record the iECG and enter the patient details in the Kardia app (tap ‘edit patient’).
  2. Send the iECG to AliveCare for filing: tap ‘share’, then ‘email’, then ‘AliveCare’
  3. Enter the diagnosis into TopBar > atrial fibrillation and click Save:
    1. Normal: no further action
    2. Possible AF: refer to GP for 12 lead ECG, and provide printed information to the patient

    1. Unclassified: the app could not the your ECG recording as Normal or Possible AF. Conditions such as sinus tachycardia/bradycardia or left bundle branch block may cause an unclassified result. Refer to GP for review and possible 12 lead ECG
