A child is counted as being fully immunised if they have no overdue 'immunisation' recalls and no overdue 'immunisation review' recalls, or a completed 'immunisation review',
that occurred before or on the reference date, appropriate to the child's age as of the reference date, as per the table below.
This logic was taken from the H4L version 3.3 specification (March 2009)
Child's Age | Immunisation required, by clinical item type description |
6 or 7 months inclusive | 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;BIRTH' or |
8 or 9 months inclusive | 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;2 MONTH' or |
10 or 11 months inclusive | 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;4 MONTH' or |
12 to 17 months inclusive | 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;6 MONTH' or |
18 to 23 months inclusive | 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;12 MONTH' or 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;18 MONTH' |
24 to 53 months inclusive | 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;18 MONTH' or 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;4 YEAR' |
54 to 71 months inclusive | 'REVIEW;IMMUNISATION;4 YEAR' |
The extractor will check for the status of the child's immunisation as Communicare allows staff to enter a custom status of 'fully immunised' without providing all details of the
individual vaccines as well as for the individual vaccine names below.
