Importing an extract into PAT CAT is completed in 2 stages.
- Stage 1: Either adding G-tags and de-identifying an extract, or only de-identifying an extract. This stage is performed in CAT4 at the practice.
- Stage 2: Importing/Uploading the extract into PAT CAT.
NOTE: The process for importing an extract is slightly different depending on whether you are a practice or a PHN or other organisation; both methods are covered in this section.
PAT CAT will only use one extract in a month, so if a practice uploads multiple extracts in one particular month, only the most recent data will be used for reporting. This can be addressed by manually excluding data if required.
